Casa Loma College – Your Choice for a Diagnostic Medical Sonography School

The process of sonography is one of the most vital tools in healthcare, used to noninvasively examine the heart, blood vessels, the abdomen, reproductive organs, and more. Because it’s become so critical in detecting abnormalities and disease, the demand for diagnostic medical sonographers — also referred to as ultrasound technologists — is higher than ever. It’s one of the fastest-growing fields in healthcare, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting it will grow by 11% over the next decade.

At Casa Loma College, you can earn an Associate of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in less than two-years. Our accredited sonography program qualifies you to take the most-recognized certification exams, including from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography Primary Pathway Certification and Registration.

With training from an ultrasound technologist school like Casa Loma College, you’ll take courses that cover topics like:

  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Medical Terminology
  • Fundamentals on Sonography and Abdominal Imaging
  • Obstetrics and Gynecological Imaging
  • Patient-Sonographer Interactions and Patient Care for Sonographers

Our sonography program blends in-class and online instruction, along with lab and clinical practicum experience, so you can get the training you need in less time than standard associate degree programs. We partner with a variety of healthcare facilities to ensure your hands-on experience truly prepares you for a future career, and we provide a number of resources and student services, to ensure you’re supported throughout your program.

If you’ve been looking for the right diagnostic medical sonography school for you, contact Casa Loma College today.
