Establish a Brighter Future as an MRI Technologist
Of all the diagnostic tools at our disposal in the modern field of healthcare, one of the most powerful is magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Using powerful magnets and radio waves, an MRI can produce a 3-D detailed picture of what’s going on inside a patient’s body, allowing us to assess bones and joints, the brain and spinal cord, the circulatory system, infections and cancer, and the overall health of our organs and systems. There is an increasing demand for healthcare professionals with MRI certification in Southern California and throughout the U.S., with the Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting jobs to grow faster than average through 2033.
Casa Loma College in Aurora, CO, offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging that can prepare you to be a part of this fast-growing field in 22 months.
The MRI training at Casa Loma College blends both in-class and online courses with labs and practical experience, covering topics like:
- Human Anatomy and Physiology
- MRI Physics and Instrumentation
- Cross-Sectional Anatomy
- Safety and Ethics for Science and Health
- Patient Care Management
Our program combines clinical and didactic experiences to give you the knowledge and skills needed to become an entry-level MRI Technologist.
Casa Loma College graduates qualify to sit for MRI certification exams by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI Primary Pathway Certification and Registration.
After graduating and successfully passing your MRI certification exams, you can explore career opportunities in health care facilities including hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, urgent care clinics and physician offices.
If you’ve been looking for comprehensive, supportive MRI training, Casa Loma College is the right choice for you.
You deserve the very best in allied health education. And that’s what you’ll get at Casa Loma College.
